In the realm of the Valorant Champions Tour, VCT Americas continues to reign supreme in terms of talent and viewership, with fan-favorite teams like Sentinels and LOUD leading the charge.

Following the excitement of VCT Masters Shanghai, the esports summer is heating up, with high-stakes Valorant gameplay and numerous high-profile tournaments set to begin. VCT Americas Stage 2 begins on June 22 to determine which three teams will rep their region at VCT Champions in August.

Powerhouses such as Sentinels, 100 Thieves, and G2 Esports appear formidable, while underdogs like NRG and LOUD are poised to challenge the status quo - but anything is possible!

Here's everything you need to know about VCT Americas Stage 2, including the schedule, format, streams, and results.

VCT Americas Stage 2: Format

VCT Americas Stage 2 will feature a revised format from Stage 1. The eleven teams will again be divided into Group Alpha and Group Omega, maintaining the same squad composition as Stage 1. However, instead of cross-group play, teams will play against each other from the same group in Stage 1 in Bo3 matches.

While there's no prize pool, each team receives one VCT Americas circuit point per match victory, so there's everything to play for! These valuable points could be the difference between jetting to Seoul for VCT Champions or staying home.

Teams will qualify for the Playoffs based on their overall record from Stage 1 and Stage 2, regardless of their grouping. The initial round of the Playoffs will be knockout, where the losing teams are eliminated immediately.

Following this, the Playoffs will have a double-elimination bracket. The Grand Finals and Lower Bracket Finals will be Bo5, while the remaining matches will be Bo3.

The top three teams from VCT Americas Stage 2 qualify for Champions, alongside the VCT Americas team with the most championship points.

VCT Americas Stage 2: Teams

The Valorant Champions Tour is back again in the Americas for Stage 2, maintaining the same team roster as Stage 1 and the KICKOFF. While none of the Americas teams lifted the trophy at VCT Masters Shanghai, the Americas remains one of the top regions in the professional VCT circuit.

VCT Americas Stage 2: Schedule

VCT Americas Stage 2 begins on June 22 for just over four weeks of high-stakes Valorant gameplay, ending on July 21. Like VCT Pacific Stage 2, matches will happen every Saturday, Sunday, and Monday. The exception to this is Super Week from June 29 - July 3.
