ESL Pro League Season 18 is the next big CS:GO Tier 1 event on the calendar, right before CS2's highly-anticipated release. It's the end of an era, so which team will be etching their name in the history books?

32 of the best CS:GO teams will compete for the Intel Grand Slam and the prize pool of $850,000. If that isn't enough, the winner gets a ticket straight to the BLAST Premier World Final 2023 and an automatic invitation to IEM Katowice 2024 next year.

ESL Pro League Season 18: Format

The ESL Pro League S18 format is divided into a Group Stage and the Playoffs. The first phase, the Group Stage, kicks off on August 30.

Group Stage

• All 32 teams are divided into four triple-elimination format groups. There will be eight teams per group.
• All Group Stage matches will be best-of-three.
• As with previous ESL Pro League tournaments, the winner of each group advances to the Playoffs' Quarterfinals, 2nd-place teams advance to the Round of 12, and 3rd-4th placed teams advance to the Round of 16.

Playoffs

• 16 teams participate in the Playoffs.
• Single-elimination bracket, with best-of-three matches, excluding the Grand Final, which is best-of-five.
• Winning team takes home the champion's trophy, the lion's share of the prize pool ($200,000), and invites to IEM Katowice 2024 and BLAST World Final 2023.

ESL Pro League Season 18: Teams

Thirty-two teams will participate in ESL Pro League Season 18, creating intense and electrifying competition with the top CS:GO talent worldwide. FaZe Clan won EPL S1. Will they make it a second time in a row?
