Cloud9, GODSENT qualify for DreamHack Masters Spring

April 20, 2020

The international outfit and the ex-ATK side were the first two to make it through the closed qualifiers of their respective regions for DreamHack Masters Spring 2020 event.

GODSENT's flawless upper bracket run saw them qualify after wins over AVEZ, forZe and Team Spirit, with three 2-1 wins enough to get them through to the promised land. Notably, Team Spirit and forZe were the two teams responsible for scuttling OG's qualifier run, and they will be facing off against one another for the second qualification spot in the lower bracket.

Over in North America, Cloud9 lived up to their designation as favorites with only a single map dropped throughout their run, beating New England Whalers, Bad News Bears and Team Envy en route to qualification. Envy and Bad News Bears will be facing off against one another in the lower bracket for the second spot on offer in the North American bracket.
