Brazil vs Peru: the Aorus League Dota 2 Regionals brought to you by Rivalry
It’s Brazil versus Peru In the Christmas edition of the Aorus League Dota 2 Regionals, an event sponsored by Rivalry where eight teams battle for the supremacy of the South American region. Three invited and one qualified teams are present from each country as they fight for the lions’ share of the $4 000 prize pool.
The group stage matches take place between December 16th and 18th in a GSL format which determines the seeding for the playoffs. After a rest day, the event continues with the playoffs between December 20th and 22nd with a single-elimination bracket. You can’t just fluke your way to victory here: every single match leading up to the grand final is a best-of-three (including the group stage matches), with a best-of-five barnburner set to determine the eventual winner.
