SirActionSlacks has long been a pillar of the Dota community, but not all community interactions revolving around him have been positive. We're, of course, talking about the "Fuck Slacks" meme, Twitch chat's favorite thing to spam whenever he's on the big screen of a broadcast. But where does Fuck Slacks come from? Read on to find out!
What is "Fuck Slacks"?
Slacks has long been a part of the Dota scene before getting a chance to play a part at an official broadcast, and fittingly, it was The Summit which gave him that opportunity. The Summit 3 was a watershed moment in his career, establishing himself as a permanent fixture of big broadcasts.
Then the memes began.
During a segment in the 2016 Boston Major, Purge and SirActionSlacks interviewed the Major's host, and he was asked what the community says whenever they wanted something to be fixed. While the correct answer was "Volvo plz", Purge mused that he would've accepted "Fuck Slacks" as well. Whenever SirActionSlacks performs something, people may spam "Fuck Slacks", be it on online threads or forums or during streams.
