Nigma wins against Fighting PandaS, clinches playoff spot at Bukovel Minor
RNG, Geek Fam, Gambit and Nigma secured the playoff spots in Ukraine as Fighting PandaS went out after losing two marathon series on the second day of the WePlay! Bukovel Minor.
Top four secured
The ex-Liquid lineup took the difficult way to the playoffs of the Minor, where they will have to face a resurgent RNG for the chance for a spot in the grand final. Heartbreak was the order of the day for Fighting PandaS who lost two close series in Group B after their opening day victory, losing 2-1 to Gambit and then KuroKy's men, a defeat which must have stung all the more considering their opening day win over the same side.
In Group A, Royal Never Give Up look like the team to beat, qualifying with dominant victories on both days over their opposition. Though Geek Fam couldn't convert their winner's match against the Chinese side, they made up for it with a comfortable triumph over Team Spirit.

Day 3 of the event will feature four series: the two opening matches, the first elimination match and the upper bracket finals. RNG going up against Nigma could very well turn out to be the matchup of the tournament and it will be fascinating to see how it unfolds. Can the TI9 finalists find some consistency or will Royal Never Give Up continue to steamroll everyone in their path? We'll know very soon.
