Team Philippines is bannered by 22 strong national athletes like Nesthy Petecio and Carlo Paalam, who will be waving the Philippine flag once more in the Olympics Opening Ceremony after the torch relay. Team Philippines hopes to improve upon their 2020 Olympic Games performance, where they earned their impressive four medal haul.

While Gilas Pilipinas' and his national team made it to the semi-finals of the FIBA Olympic Qualifying tournament, they unfortunately failed to secure their spot at the Paris Olympics. Competing Athletes for Team Philippines

Twenty-two national athletes will be repping the Philippines at the 2024 Summer Games, aiming to build on their epic performance in 2020 where they scored their first Gold medal, two Silvers, and one Bronze medal.

Philippine Olympic Committee (POC) president Abraham "Bambol" Tolentino expressed his optimism: "Definitely, we will deliver. Definitely, we will surpass Tokyo (Olympics)."

The Philippines is set to smash records at the Paris Olympics, featuring an immense lineup of fifteen female athletes and seven male athletes, showcasing their commitment to gender equality.

Boxing

Team Philippines has entered five boxers (two men and three women) into the 2024 Olympic Games. The Philippine Olympic Committee appealed to let retired boxer Manny Pacquiao compete. However, the IOC refused due to the current age limits.

The Olympic boxing matches will take place from July 27 up until August 10 before the closing ceremonies on August 11.

Fencing

For the first time since 1992, the Philippines has entered one fencer into the Summer Olympic Games. Samantha Catantan qualified by winning the Women's Individual Foil events at the Asia and Oceania Zonal Olympic Qualifying tournament in Dubai.

The Women's Individual Foil event will be on July 28, with the Qualifier in the morning (9:30 AM) and the Final in the afternoon/evening (7 PM).

Golf

Team Philippines entered two female golfers into the Paris Olympics. They both qualified based on their ranking in the Olympic Golf Rankings. The Women's Individual Golf tournament will have three rounds between August 7 - 9 (9 AM - 6PM daily), with the Final on August 10 (9 AM - 6PM).

Gymnastics

Team Philippines managed to qualify four athletes into the Gymnastics category for the Paris Olympics. The Men's individual All-Around Olympic Qualifying tournament for Carlos Yulo will be on July 27 (11 AM), with the Final on July 31 (5:30 PM).

Meanwhile, the Women's All-Around Olympic Qualifying tournament will be on July 28 (9:30 AM), with the Final on August 1 (6:15 PM).

Judo

Filipino-Japanesa judoka, Kiyomi Watanbe, qualified for the Paris Olympics through the IJF World Ranking list and a continental quota in Asia.

The Women's 63kg Judo event will be held on July 30, with a Qualifier in the morning (10 AM) and the Final in the afternoon (4 PM).

Rowing

Joanie Delgaco has become the first female rower to represent the Philippine delegation at the Olympic Games. This event will be held from July 27 at 10:12 AM, with successive Heats and Repechage to determine who makes it to the Quarterfinals and beyond. The Grand Final will be on August 3.

Swimming

Team Philippines has qualified two swimmers into the 2024 Olympic Games. The Men's 100M Butterfly will be held on August 2 with Heats (11 AM) and the Semi-Finals (8:30 PM). The Finals will be on August 3 (8:30 PM)

The Women's' 100M Freestyle will have Heats and the Semi-Finals on July 30 (11 AM), with the Finals on July 31 (8:30 PM).

Weightlifting

The Philippines has entered three weightlifters into the 2024 Paris Olympics. John Ceniza (Men's 61kg), Elreen Ando (Women's 59kg), and Vanessa Sarno (Women's 71kg) all secured one of the top ten slots in their respective weight divisions.
